Washington, D.C–

If this Omicron version of the virus hasn’t put a stranglehold on the Hoyas program for the past few weeks, the scheduling certainly has.

The program had announced that the St. John’s game that was originally set to be rescheduled for February 21st, has now been moved to February 3rd and will be played at McDonough on campus.

The information on tickets will be released January 24th. The big question that remains, is how Georgetown is going to handle the COVID 19 vax protocols. Currently, all Georgetown students are starting the semester remotely until January 30th and have the option of moving into their residence halls, January 11th. Currently for all students who test positive they have to go into a 10 day quarantine in a room of an isolated building.

This could pose a big challenge if they decided to extend that, as more than likely, no outside people, aka fans will be allowed on campus and possibly the game will have to be played with no fans in attendance if they do not grant some sort of waiver for the game or have a way to secure the new D.C laws that are going into place this month that the Georgetown games fall under.

Stay tuned.. As for now the game will show on FS1 on the 3rd.

In other Hoyas news, we should also know if Wayne Bristol Jr. will be eligible to play this semester after deciding to transfer from Howard.
