We all know that West Palm Beach has really been popping off quite a few new dining options over the past year. It leaves us wondering if all of the new openings in Miami have made restaurant groups look at hotbed new places to be in a destination like West Palm and settled on making this an area that no one can miss.
The NORA District in Downtown West Palm Beach ill still well under construction at the time of this article (March 2026), but new places Like Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar are turning heads with amazing food and low key lounge area that gives you lunch time hang out vibes and late night patio cocktail hour after beaching all day.
For anyone who has tried their Boston locations, you will know it’s good food and good vibes after a game by the Fenway location. This one is much different and boasting a huge patio out front a full bar to serve that area, you will find the afternoon vibe to be just perfect.
When we stopped in during happy hour around 430pm, we found some amazing food options on the menu that included the Oysters and Shrimp Cocktail, which for the $4.00 prices for each. Grab two of each and a margarita and call it an evening if you like. The serving sizes are very generous for the prices. We added the street corn that had an amazing Tajin flavor pop.
It would be hard to leave a place like this without trying their street tacos. Homemade corn tortillas along with roasted chicken and carne asada are two that are sure not to be missed
The space features multiple bars, DJs, live music, and a vibrant atmosphere that fits right into Nora’s evolving food scene. It’s built to be social — whether you’re grabbing happy hour drinks, meeting friends for dinner, or staying out for the music this is your new go to spot.
With its bold flavors and upbeat vibe, Loco is quickly positioning itself as one of the district’s new go-to spots.
