The biggest news of the day was that the Mystics set a record with 18 three pointers during their rout including a few from Elena Delle Donne with strong pressure from the Fever defense. She hit three of the 18 threes made on the day on the way to the record setting game.

They have won six in a row, averaging 95.3 points during the run, and 11 of their last 12. Washington broke the 3-point record of 17 set by Seattle last year against Las Vegas.

Aerial Powers added 19 points, going 4 of 6 from 3-point range, and Ariel Atkins, who also hit 4 3s, had 14 points for the Mystics.

“We just played a very solid game on both ends today so it made it much easier to find open players and get the looks we wanted from the perimeter and build the momentum in the third and fourth quarters, said Mystics Forward Elena Delle Donne.
