Each season we take a look at the Nike Golf collection of shoes and this fall they have two styles of shoes that are sure to set the course on fire with their Leather and Suede Lunar Swingtip Shoes.
The design behind the shoe is a more relaxed shoe that can be worn off the course and has enough of the standard course look to be country club acceptable. What we really liked is that the shoe comes in two different versions in leather and suede.
A few of the features of the shoe are the seasonally relevant upper materials, full length Lunarlon drop-in sock liner and weight activated traction lugs. Some people will miss the lack of traction, we certainly did not when leaving the course and did not hear any spike noises. A positive of this shoe is being able wear it inside of the clubhouse for those who require you to remove your shoes before entering.
We thought that both the Suede and Leather shoes were extremely comfortable to walk 18 holes right out of the box with no issues at all on the feet. It offers a great insole that we would recommend pulling out and put in other shoes for sure. Unlike Nike Golf’s competitors in ECCO , Ashwoth and Adidas who have similar style shoes, these go for a more of a casual look and save you from saying I was just on the course when you want to wear them out to dinner later that night.
We really liked how the Suede Swingtips performed under a light drizzle. We had those on the course during a recent LPGA Symetra Tour event in Maryland and they remained extremely dry while walking in the rain for over four holes before heading inside. They are very easy to maintain as well. A quick little suede brush took care of any grass and debris from the day and the little water spots came out with the brush without too much hassle replica watches.
Both pairs of shoes are a solid investment for $150 for the leather and $140 for the suede pair. Three colors each are available in leather and suede. Our tested pairs were the white on white leather and black on black.
