As many of our readers know the Nike Golf product has seemed to evolve to even higher levels of greatness from year to year, but this season the amount of bang for your buck has gone that much farther with their best performance apparel to date.
What golfers and clothing connoisseurs alike will admire about Nike Golf’s Spring/Summer collection is the emphasis on striking color combinations. While it has not come close to the outrageousness of the Puma product, we definitely had a few looks with both of our men’s and women’s selections on the course. But we had to replica watches remember that this is the year of the bright colors on and off the course. Whether you are trying to make a statement, or just want to be that fly on the course, Nike has you covered with the Tour Collection and the premium Tiger Woods Collection of apparel.
In the men’s collection two must haves for the Spring and Summer are the Premium Jersey polo which is available in three colors, Spark, Cyber and Black. The cyber is the color that will have people turning heads. Combine this shirt with the flat front tour pants and lemonade has just become your best friend. We like the cotton and polyester blend with this shirt and the Dri-Fit technology certainly fits true to form and doesn’t have a bunch of extra bagginess to the shirt. The color stayed extremely well after 22 washes. What you will want to combine these shirts with are their Fashion Plaid Shorts. Their wild color combinations certainly allow you to make a statement with any of their shirts.
If you are looking for something a little more on the lighter side for the hot summer in the East, then you need to check out the TW Ultra Polo. You may have seen Tiger debut a few of these summer colors and styles at the Masters, but this shirt is definitely a master of comfort. At 100 percent polyester, you might think not great quality, but this blend is nothing short of amazing with the self-fabric collar and the snap pocket buttons. At 2.9 ounces, people can pack plenty of these to save weight at the airport baggage scale this summer.
You can’t have a TW collection shirt without the matching pants. No wonder Tiger is involved in the design, the end result is amazing in comfort. The Dri-Fit wind resistant Platinum Collection pants have to be the best TW collection pants in over 10 years. The first TW collection pants were those old-school PGA suitable clubhouse style pants. Now you can wear these to the club and fit right in, the nightclub that is. We had at least four people ask us during our round if this was our course outfit of if we were coming to have dinner and hang out in the bar area. We said both. “ Oh, really,” was the response. If only we had the matching shoes, which some of our readers definitely have in their Nike arsenal?
For our female golfers, they have released some products that are good enough to double as gym gear. Our first impression was that a few of these pieces had some tennis inspiration to them and once you wear their Skorts, you will easily fall in love with their ease of conversion.
The New Sew Knit Skort in pink flash combined with a the pink flash short sleeve shirt is something that will have people checking you out on the course. There is no losing your golfing partner with this outfit. The Modern rise knit skort has a 17 3/4″ outseam, weighs only 8.29 oz and is 92 percent polyester and 8 percent spandex. The material is a Dri-FIT jersey material and has the inner short lining. Perfect for any afternoon of golfing, or just lounging around the golf course. Another must have in the bag if you are trying to pack lightly.
After a few rounds of golf and the standard wear and tear testing we have put all of our apparel through, we must admit the we continue to be impressed by the quality of what Nike puts out for both men and women. They take the feedback from their tour athletes and develop a perfect combination of fashion and style.
