Washington, D.C–

mpi34_0928_kylebuschwhitehouse_20-pointed-magazineToday President Obama welcomed 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Winner, Kyle Busch to the White House.

The president and Busch entered the room after the France Family along with Busch’s wife Samantha sat in the front row.

Obama joked that the first lady probably wouldn’t let him drive a car with M&Ms all over it. Maybe carrots. And he joked that “It’s 2016. There were some people who thought we were going to see a Bush back here in the White House this. They didn’t know it was going to be Kyle.”

He lauded charity and service work by Busch and NASCAR.

Busch presented the helmet to Obama as a gift.

“Tell me the truth, what are you pumping in through there?” Obama asked, smiling.

“Some pretty good stuff,” Busch said, laughing.

The President then prepared for his departure to Richmond, VA this afternoon for a town Hall at Fort Lee with troops.
