Miami, FL–
For most visitors to Miami, there is plenty to see and do on a regular day, but this past week… Miami was on fire and like Will Smith said South Beach Bringing the Heat was nothing less than accurate.
We spent the better part of four days checking our numerous parties and when we say numerous, we couldn’t even make it to all of them there were so many going on that choosing what one was the right one was difficult.
One of the best events during Super Bowl were the concerts held at American Airlines Arena, with the big hit being Friday night with a 2 hour 50 minute set from Guns and Roses. It is clear the Axl is back and ready to hit the States with a run for their money on their Stadium Tour starting on July 4th.
There were quite a few gems that we checked out including the Port De Stella located at the Wharf Miami which was a three day event that included culinary tastings, live DJ sets from Cedric Gervais, Soffi Tukker just to name a few. All of the Stella products were available for tasting along with a few specialty cocktails on the menu. If you were lucky you got to go out on one of their Stella Boats from South Beach to the event.
Plenty of other highlights included the Rolling Stone Magazing party with Veuve Cliquot at the SLS Hotel in South Beach that included appearances by Diddy, Paris Hilton just to name a few.
Across town in Wynwood was another party option with the Iheart Leather and Laces party with FloRida and 50 Cent performing. This event was one of the more underattended events that we checked out. Perhaps the two nights of rain kept this one from getting the attention it deserved. 50 Cent still can bring it on stage and his 4 songs seemed to be enough for the crowd that was there.
South of town at the Miami Seaqaurium was the Maxim Party, which saw quite a line-up that featured the Chainsmokers performing along with Rick Ross and Megan Thee Stallion. Lots of D list Instagram Influencers in attendance at this one, but a few big names did pop in like Kyle Busch and Lil Nas X.
Sunday had tons of great watch parties and even a lot of people checking out the players tailgate prior to the game. While this was one of the most pricy watch party style pre game events in town, it still has celebrities in attendance with former players, so a great option for fans.
Overall, it was a fun time in a city that we always seem to find fun in even without the Big Game in town.
