For those who have not heard about the Tea Forte crave we were recently introduced to while reviewing a local spa, then we highly encourage you to sip up every bit of this review and see why our staff and many other tea connoseurs have fallen in love with a taste that is like no other.
Founded in 2003 by American Designer Peter Hewitt, Tea Forte was created to capture the “art of tea.” His passion for whole leaf teas begins in the local teahouses of Asia and is developed incorporating whole leaf teas, rough cut herbs and flowers to create the highest quality tea available.
Our staff had the chance to taste the sampler and the exotics package. We will first talk about the packaging of the product and then let our readers know about each flavor and which one we found to be awarded the best of the best.
The sampler includes 20 silken infusers of the black, green and herbal teas. Included in this pack are Chai, English Breakfast, Black Currant, Chamomile Tisane, Citrus Mint, Earl Grey, Flora, Decaf Breakfast, Oasis, and Forte.
The tea infusers are made of silk and filled with Tea Forte’s own Oasis blend. Oasis is a healing blend of green tea, .. More spring flowers, and citrus infusions. Naturally high in anti-oxidants, a cup of the oasis blend tea will provide a little stress relief from everyday life.
From the Black Tea’s we all agreed that the Bombay Chai had the best flavor containing enticing blends of Indian black teas and rare spices. Talk about an instant flight to Bombay, this tea takes your taste buds on a flight to enjoyment in just about five to seven minutes.
In the Herbal Tea category, the Citrus Mint tea takes our award for the best flavor. This is a great tea to enjoy after dinner and the mint just bursts with every sip.
If you are on a healthy kick, we highly suggest the Jasmine Green Tea. The scent of this tea could easily double as room freshner as the scent of the blooming jasmine fills the air when poured into the unique tea forte cups.
Each one of the teas are enclosed in hand-pack’ed silken infusers, and each is topped with with a uniquely designed wrapped wire and leaf. No more dropping the tea bag in the cup or wondering what the taste will be like from teas that claim to have a robust flavor.
