When you need a team to surge late in the season.. you need them to surge. That is exactly what the Maryland Terps have done with a victory over Michigan in Ann Arbor this week, the outcome on Senior Night against Northwestern on Saturday has no effect on the 4th seed in Indianapolis next week but could have implications on how the NCAA decides to seed them for the upcoming tournament.
It’s time to say the Terps aren’t a team anyone would want to face in the NCAA Tournament this year with the way that Kevin Willard has his guys playing.. its the best of the season. Can the Terps land a top seed in the East and head out to Denver to start and advance back to Raleigh for a possible match up against Cooper Flagg and Duke? Time will tell.
