Washington, D.C–
It always an interesting night when LeBron James and crew comes to Verizon Center, and just one day after they visited the White House, Cleveland came and again left with another victory, 105-94.
John Wall again carried the load for the Wizards with 28 point and the mix up of players off the bench seemed to be a little better than it has been for the first 5 games the season.
Markieff Morris scored 20 for the Wizards, who played without injured shooting guard Bradley Beal. Otto Porter Jr. followed up his 34-point, 14-rebound effort in a win against Boston on Wednesday with 11 points and eight rebounds.
The big note of the night for both teams came with LeBron James became the youngest player to reach 27,000 points. Kobe Bryant had been the youngest, about 32 1/2 when he got there. … Smith was called for a Flagrant-1 foul in third quarter.
“Cleveland is always a tough match-up and when they are at full strength they are definately the best team in the league. There is a reason why they are the reigning champs, said Wizards Head Coach Scott Brooks.
