Las Vegas, NV–

In the second Las Vegas Summer League game of the season, the Washington Wizards seemed to look a little lackluster when it came to making something happen offensively. The D-League Select players obviously came to play and why not, as some of these players are trying to make squads this upcoming season.

The biggest highlight of the game came when D-League select player Hasheem Thabeet was ejected after two connsecutive technical fouls were assessed to him after a bad call on a rebound inside the paint. Thabeet left with words and then later hit the bottom of the stairs on his way out.

Second-year swingman Casey Prather, a Florida product, contributed 13 points and eight rebounds for the D-League Select, which shot 34 of 71 (47.9 percent) from the field and 8 of 19 (42.1 percent) on 3-pointers. After overcoming a seven-point deficit in the first quarter, the D-League Select never trailed again and led by as many as 24 points.

Romero Osby, a former Oklahoma standout, added 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting. He went 4-for-5 from long distance and had six rebounds.
