Washington, D.C–

It’s no secret that over the past few years many teams including the Wizards have showcased their athletes arrivals for game days and the fashion has been a huge part of that.

While this “fashion” showcase is new to many teams, we have been capturing the athletes off the court and fields for quite a few years. People always wondered why we would want athletes out of uniform, well tonight a big fashion party at the Wharf in Downtown D.C, showed all in attendance what the Wizards Style was all about.

Over the past couple of seasons, Kyle Kuzma has showcased quite a few wild outfits showing up at Capital One Arena, tonight it was a simple sweatshirt and a pair of Louis Vuitton trainers for his quick walk down the runway. This is much different then the big pink sweater that went viral all over two seasons ago.

One outfit that had us scratching our head and certainly reminded us about something from the COVID era was the full masked hoodie look of Jordan Poole. Poole arrived at the Wharf with another mask with Nike STUSSY sweatpants and top. We didn’t think he would do it twice in a night, but not everyone got to see him walking into the venue.

Overall, it was a great way to see the community rally around the start of the season and a chance to meet some of the new guys.

For the first hour, many local designers from D.C Fashion week took part in the event and showed off some of their looks.
