Washington, D.C–

Tomas Satoranksy became the first Czech player to score a Triple Double tonight for the Wizards

As we all know by now, the Wizards season has been a bunch of ups and downs, tonight it was more a up behind the continued emergence of Tomas Satoranksy.

Sato, as fans have come to know him now has become one of the most valuable players off the bench as well as a starter and continued to show that tonight hitting on his first career triple double that just sort of seemed to stop the Number 2 defense in its tracks.

Satoranksy finished the game as the first Chezh player to score a triple with 16 points 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

Much can be said about the Wizards performance, but they also did not have to face Giannis Antetokoumpo who missed the game with a sore groin.

Without the Greek Freak in the line-up, the Wizards capitalized on getting into the paint with ease, allowing them to maintain a double digit lead late into the game.

“I think tonight they were breaking us down defensively,” Bucks wing Khris Middleton said. “We got into some bad situations with pick-and-roll, pops, but I mean, Jeff Green knocked them down. We didn’t expect him to hit that many. We knew he could shoot it, but he got hot on us tonight.”

Next up for the Wizards is a match-up on Sunday against Brooklyn.
