Washington, D.C–

For the second straight night, the Wizards have found a way to lose a game by double digits, tonight it was the Clippers who came to town and let James Harden and company roll right out of Capital One Arena with a 121-96 victory.

Last night, the Wizards threw up a lackluster performance against the Bulls and tonight was even worse and it didn’t get any better as for the Wizards as Kyle Kuzma exited the game with an apparent rib injury after playing just 8 minutes. That was just the start of the downfall that Harden and the west coast crew dropped on the Wizards.

Harden hit seven 3-pointers, had 23 points in the first quarter and eclipsed his previous season high of 29 by halftime. The 10-time All-Star posted his highest point total since scoring 44 at Detroit on March 26, 2021, despite exiting the game at the end of the third.

Harden’s 23-point first quarter marked the ninth time he scored at least 23 in one period, according to StatMuse, and his first since July 31, 2020.

Washington had Jordan Poole back in the line-up tonight after missing the last 2 games with a hip injury. Poole had one of his worst nights in quite a while finishing 1 for 7 from the field with just 8 points in 25 minutes.

After tonight, many fans left wondering what the agenda of this season is? Are they trying to end up at the bottom in hopes of increasing their draft status or perhaps makes some moves with either Kuzma or Jordan Poole before the trade deadline?

Can the Wizards use the Thanksgiving break to regroup before facing Milwaukee on the road Saturday night? If what they put on the court is similar to the last two games, there are going to be quite a few more of these loses coming up.
