Free Hong Kong Signs Appeared Inside and Out of Capital One Arena During the Long Lions Visit

Over the past few games, Long Lions team have been faced with some trying times. It started again tonight as several of their fans had to be escorted off the court with FREE Hong Kong signs. One fan even managed to scream it from the Club Level of Capital One Arena before he was also removed from the arena.

Despite the pregame nonsense, which also included someone handing out Free Hong Kong shirts prior to the game, it didn’t stop the Wizards from handing them another L on the box score, 137-98.

This game was basically another one where Scott Brooks was able to look a few of the players that could be on the cusp of making the squad or assigned to their G League team prior to the opening of the season on October 23rd in Dallas.

Some of the highlights from tonight included Bradley Beal and Ish Smith sitting on the bench taking a night off and Moritz Wagner scoring 21 points off the bench and leading the Wizards for the night.

“I think we got some good looks tonight at quite a few guys. We have a good Milwaukee team coming into town on Sunday, where we can see some of what we need to fix before the season opener,” said Wizards Head Coach Scott Brooks.
