Bradley Beal Reverses for 2 of his Game High 40 Points Against Phoenix

In a game that never seemed like it would end tonight at Capital One Arena, the battle of attrition as we will deem it, was finally won by the Wizards in three overtimes, 149-146. All of this with John Wall out with flu like symptoms.

Tonight the story was all about Thomas Bryant, who has emerged as strong contender for the Wizards since Dwight Howard was ruled out for most of the season.

Bryant’s career high was 16 points coming into tonight. He scored 16 alone in one scorching stretch over the first and second overtimes Saturday night on his way to a historic perfect shooting performance.

Bryant scored 31 points on 14-for-14 shooting to help the Washington Wizards outlast the Phoenix in the final minute of the third overtime.

“Thomas has been coming into the games and doing the things we ask of him, tonight was just a special night for him and the rest of this team,” said Wizards Head Coach Scott Brooks.

The Wizards will not have very long to enjoy this victory, as they head off to Indianapolis to face the Pacers tomorrow night.
