New York, NY–

The big day for the WNBA is just one day away… or down to hours going into Sunday night and there are still a lot of questions as to who may go where, and will Paige Bueckers go to the Dallas Wings on Draft night?

For quite a bit of our readers, the big night focuses on what the Washington Mystics will be doing on draft night. With a new front office and new head coach, the Mystics are going to be making moves.

The big questions that continue to arise before draft night is will the Dallas Wings make the first pick or will they be making a move to send the 1st pick somewhere else. Earlier this season Bueckers was seen at a Mystics game with her family and perhaps scouting the area. Only time will tell if that was just to see some of her friends on the team or really are they considering reuniting two former UCONN teammates.

The Mystics more than likely will take Sonia Citron G from Notre Dame and Kiki Iriafen, F, USC. Could we see Haily Van Lith go sooner than the predicted 10th pick? This would all depend on if anyone makes a trade during the first round, otherwise Chicago will have the chance to add a solid guard with Angel Reese in Chicago. Or could she land in Golden State with the Valkyries, who are basically starting from scratch as the new team on the block.

Not a lot of talk about French center Dominique Malonga, but there really needs to be she could be one of the best picks of the draft.

The 19-year-old averaged 15.4 points and 10.3 rebounds in 22 French league appearance on top of 18.5 points and 11.0 boards in the EuroCup. She also represented France in the 2024 Summer Olympics, so she has matched up against the best the world has to offer.
