The old saying if you lay a carpet, the stars will come out at night for a party. That was exactly the case after a fun filled evening of the Skills and Three Point Contests the WNBA hosted its Orange Carpet at the Delano Hotel for all of the participants at in 2019 All Star game and let me tell you, they came Hollywood ready.
Liz Cambage the center for the Las Vegas Aces was certainly ready for her moment in the shining lights with her walk down the carpet and then later her performance on stage at the Beach Party at the Mandalay Bay where she made a brief appearance with Snoop and Iggy on stage.
So much talent on the carpet, but it was star Elena Delle Donne who stole the show with her wife Amanda. She also drew a big ovation from the fans standing behind the media watching the arrivals.
Most of the athletes, seems to be enjoying the weekend, but hometown favorite Kayla McBride, said she was super happy to be a part of the weekend and especially tonight.
” It’s an honor to be part of the weekend. You get to feel a little Hollywood for the night, but know its all about basketball at the end of the day,” said McBride.
