Las Vegas, NV–
Each year we have attended the annual CES Conference in Las Vegas, we have been looking for hottest trends and products that will “wow” us for days and years to come in the future.
From autonomous robotaxis and laundry-folding humanoids to an AI-powered robo-chef capable of cooking 500 dishes and emotional support companions, the world’s largest technology event showcased the innovations transforming lives and shaping the future.
Lenovo is going all in with their AI platforms that includes updates to the ThinkPad™ X1 Aura Edition series, the performance-focused ThinkPad X9 15p Aura Edition, the adaptive ThinkBook™ Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist, and new ThinkCentre™ X Series desktops.
There is another strong push on the pet front too with quite a few feeders with autosense and facial recognition that drew our interests. One in particular, The Satellai Collar Go, uses a platform called Petsense AI to monitor location, sleep and temperature data and other metrics that evaluate the dog’s overall health and generate alerts when something seems off. The pet market is growing to an entire new level and most of these tech companies have been jumping on this tech for quite a few years.
Bosch had a huge presence in the home appliance market showcasing the latest AI tech in the kitchen. I guess we need to start looking for a new dishwasher for the office along with the fridge that will tell us almost anything we need about what we put inside of it.
TV industry’s biggest push for 2026, it would be Micro RGB. Samsung, Hisense, LG, and TCL are all offering some variation of this technology, and it dominated the announcements out of CES.
Micro RGB TVs, also called RGB Mini LED TVs by some companies, are a type of LED TV that use a new kind of backlighting system designed to offer a big boost in color performance. Rather than using a backlight with white or blue light and then relying on a filter to produce colors, Micro RGB TVs have backlights with individual red, blue, and green LEDs. Hisense is taking this approach even further by adding cyan to certain models. Using a backlight system like this enables purer color production and a wider range of hues. At the end of the day, this should translate to a more colorful and brighter image than you’d see on a typical LED, QLED, Mini LED, or OLED TV.
Look for the 115- inch and 116-inch models of these TV’s to dominate. Although anyone who us using these will see they are very slim, but a full accent wall would be needed to really feature all these tv’s have to offer. Many of the price points have yet to be revealed on these but expect some of them to push the 16 to 20k range with bult in surround sound. Quite a few of these will be at lower price points but expect those to be a little less on the in-TV features.
We did check out quite a bit of the vehicle tech, and it looks like most of the in-car tech involves the integration of AI into the dashboards of the vehicles with Hyundai and BMW taking the lead on these.
Overall, 2026 CES saw quite a few new things that people would need in their houses ASAP and a few things that probably could wait for a bit. A lot of these things we saw including a lot of the autonomous tractors may never make it to production, but they look pretty cool and iam sure that in the next few years plowing a local farm field would be super cool.
