Las Vegas, NV–
It is the day that people in the consumer electronics field wait 12 months for, that’s right every January, we as media and other industry professionals descend on Las Vegas for four days of the best of the best new technology to hit the marketplace in the upcoming year.
For 2018, the technology continues to get better and better and this year, Ford has rolled our a test vehicle that delivers its own Dominos Pizza. That’s right, just tap your digits and the window rolls down and boom, there is your order hot and fresh. While this may be sometime away, or not, the concept is real and so are many of the other technologies on display.
So what did we like in Day 1? Well the new relationship of the Monster products with Iggy Azalea and a Type R Volkswagen Sedan, designed with a Monster system inside of it sounded nothing less than amazing with Azalea’s song playing inside.
If you are looking for speakers for home theatre Klipsch is going all in with their new reference series speakers to be released in Spring and Summer in three different models and colors.
Honda had a robotic area with three different styles of robots that are supposed to sense feelings of people and display facial expressions of being happy and upset. Looks like we have a lot of cool stuff to look forward to in the future. How much longer before we have those truly unmanned drones for people.
In the drone market. DJI again once is a leader in the show, showcasing their new toys for 2018 which includes some new cameras to mount to their pro models as well as all of the ones releases in 2017 present.
Look for more action in Day 2 to include a visit to the Kohler booth to check out the new round of heated toilets for your home.
